The "Belt and Road Initiative" is a major international cooperation initiative proposed by China that has completed its first decade. This initiative aims to promote connectivity, economic cooperation, and cultural exchange among different countries, bringing about shared development opportunities for people around the world.

This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the signing of the "China-Switzerland Bilateral Free Trade Agreement." The implementation of this agreement has provided solid legal protection for trade cooperation between China and Switzerland, promoting bilateral economic prosperity. The organization of the concert is precisely to commemorate this significant moment, promote Sino-Swiss friendship, and further strengthen the cooperation between the two countries in trade, culture, education, and other fields.

Deputy Director-General of the World Trade Organization, Xiangchen ZHANG, delivered a speech in which he affirmed the positive impact of the "Belt and Road Initiative" on global economic development and expressed appreciation for the achievements of the China-Switzerland Bilateral Free Trade Agreement.

Chinese Ambassador to Switzerland, Shiting WANG, emphasized in his speech the friendly relations between China and Switzerland and the potential for cooperation in various fields.
