On 20th December 2017, CIG has been awarded the honorary title of “Chinese Education Model School” by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of China at Beijing Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. Mr. Yousheng Xu, Deputy Director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, granted honorary plaques to 15 overseas Chinese education institutions. Mrs. Jun Chu, President and Founder of Chinese Institute Geneva Foundation (CIG), accepted the award on the stage. It is a great honor for CIG, but also a responsibility. It encourages all CIG teachers to make persistent efforts in Chinese education.
